In this stage of the Pandemic, it is not only physical strength that we need but also our mental strength to overcome the negativity that has creeped into our minds.
Many have lost their loved ones to someone’s ignorance, to time, to inadequate facilities.
But please, don’t lose hope now, you have managed to come this far, don’t give up now.
Sakshi writes this poem by taking inspiration from one of William Wordsworth’s works,- ‘A Flicker of Hope’ to make people see that light cannot be seen without darkness. To urge them to have Faith. For now, that is all I can say.
In the gloom of the night, Is when the stars above, shine For it is in the dark, That the light glows The calm brings the storm But in its thunder is hidden, The harbinger of sunshine That shines all bright, Even after the storm’s might So let it pass, For it is all a dark past But believe that in the end, You’ll see the light’s bend So don’t you be afraid, For in this pandemic’s shade Is hidden A Flicker of Hope, That will lighten like a ray So have a little faith, And let the darkness fade !!
So wholesome!!
